ChatMBTI - Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ChatMBTI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

ChatMBTI provides AI-powered chat conversations with personalities based on the 16 MBTI personality types. The service includes:

• Free tier: 5 messages per MBTI personality type
• Premium tier: Unlimited messages with all 16 personalities
• MBTI personality quiz
• Conversation history storage (local)

3. Subscriptions

Premium Subscription:

• Price: $9.99/month (subject to change)
• Auto-renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled
• Cancellation: Cancel anytime through your App Store or Play Store settings
• No refunds: Payments are non-refundable except as required by law
• Free trial: If offered, you will be charged when the trial ends unless cancelled

4. Subscription Management

To manage your subscription:

• iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → ChatMBTI
• Android: Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → ChatMBTI

The App does not process payments or cancellations directly. All billing is managed by Apple or Google.

5. User Accounts

ChatMBTI uses anonymous user IDs:

• No registration required
• User ID generated automatically
• Subscription linked to your Apple ID / Google account
• Restore purchases on new devices using "Restore Purchases"

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for illegal purposes
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or abuse the service
• Share or resell your account
• Use the App to harass, threaten, or harm others
• Generate spam or malicious content
• Bypass message limits through technical means

7. AI-Generated Content

Important disclaimers:

• Responses are generated by AI and may not be accurate
• The App is for entertainment and self-reflection only
• Do NOT use for medical, legal, or professional advice
• MBTI types are simplified representations
• AI may occasionally generate inappropriate content despite safeguards

8. Intellectual Property

• The App and its content are owned by ChatMBTI
• MBTI is a trademark of The Myers-Briggs Company (used under fair use)
• You retain rights to your conversations
• We do not claim ownership of your messages

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND:

• No guarantee of accuracy or availability
• May contain bugs or errors
• May be interrupted or discontinued
• AI responses are not professional advice

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the App
• This includes indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid (if any)

11. Privacy

Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you agree to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features
• Change pricing (with notice to existing subscribers)
• Update these Terms of Service
• Terminate accounts that violate these terms

13. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time:

• Uninstall the App to terminate use
• Cancel subscription separately through App/Play Store
• Delete all data through Settings

14. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and ChatMBTI.
